North West Driving Academy is a Washington state-licensed driver training school serving teens and adults across South King County.
North West Driving Academy was founded to make quality driver education accessible to everyone in our community — from first-time teen drivers to adults getting licensed later in life. We believe safe drivers build stronger communities, and that starts with patient, professional instruction in a judgment-free environment.
Every one of our instructors is state-certified, and every lesson runs in a modern, dual-control vehicle. We keep our approach simple: clear programs, honest pricing, and real support from sign-up to road test.
We take our state obligations seriously. Families and district partners can verify our standing at a glance:
Our driving school courses break down into a simple, step-by-step process:
We offer interactive, exclusive-classroom or hybrid classroom-and-online courses. You'll learn state traffic laws, safe driving habits, and the road rules that keep you and everyone around you safe.
One-on-one driving lessons with a certified instructor in a dual-controlled vehicle. We start in calm, low-traffic areas and progress to highways and busier traffic as your confidence grows.
Pick times that fit your calendar, complete your required practice hours, and get fully prepared to pass your official road exam.
We're committed to making driver education reachable regardless of income or background. Lessons are available in more than one language, and we're preparing to participate in Washington's upcoming low-income driver-training voucher program. Join the voucher waitlist →
